Look There! Nature is Reverting!!
Test of the Scholar: The scholar is not tested because of the plenty of his knowledge, rather it should be seen that how does he refrain and save himself from mischievous affairs.
Proper grooming of the children:
During the hajj I went to meet a friend of mine on his residence. An old man was present there as well. The old man introduced himself and told about his children that one of my daughters in America! One of my sons is in England and he is appointed on a high designation!! One of my sons has so much so of education!!! Then he said, “We have been sent on hajj (pilgrimage) by our children. I said to him: You have become so old, your wife is handicapped, you are handicapped too, did none of your sons or daughters came with you on pilgrimage? He said, “They did not have time.” I said to them, would your children have enough time after your death that they recite kalmah, prayers, Quran for you for your redemption? So a person sitting nearby said: If their children knew about kalmah, prayers, Quran only then they shall recite and offer them! People of Allah! Since the time we have removed ourselves from the knowledge of Allah, since then we have stopped worrying about our offspring. We should have an emotion in our heart that O Allah! May my son spend a life that you like. So we seek worldly clothing and bedding for our children and we seek infidel-like clothing and bedding for our kids. And this becomes a part of their life. And with this emotion we think about our children. May the life of my son be spent as an affluent person. May the life of my daughter be spent as an affluent person? No NO! People of Allah! There is a personality behind my son and my daughter whose name is Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) and he is such a dignified personality that whose slavery is incumbent upon our offspring. We should ask Allah for our offspring that O Allah! Somehow my offspring should revert to the lifestyle and commandments of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). If our offspring does not revert to the true path, we shall be unsuccessful. According to the world we shall succeed, but according to the afterlife, we shall fail.
Society of the Companions (رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین) and the Family of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ)!
Please believe that the society that belonged to the companions and the family of prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), there were no divorces in that society. Our present beautiful society has increased the ratio of divorces. Many such stories come to my attention that whose solution is only divorce. There is no other solution. Why does this happen? It happens because either the husband or the wife becomes so extremely disobedient that there is no way to revert.
The Daughter Went to the In-Laws and Set Everything Ablaze
The brick was laid badly even on the first day. The education of the daughter finished. Her age also increased. Now the mother became worried about the marriage. And the father also became worried. But the parents did not know that whether they gave their daughter the jewelry of good manners and faith. They gave her the jewelry of silver, gold and bronze. But we did not give her the jewelry of the love of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). That daughter went to her in-laws and set their home ablaze because the parents had not given her the jewelry of manners! Or the jewelry of faith!! Or the jewelry of love and affection of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). They did not give her the life of companions (رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین) of Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ). They did not give her the patience of of Hazrat Fatima (رضی اللہ عنہا).
Hardships of Hazrat Fatima (رضی اللہ عنہا)
Hazrat Fatima (رضی اللہ عنہا) used to say: That my clothes often used to remain stained due to cleaning the floor with a broom, by operating the granary, there were stains on the hands. And while lifting the pitcher of water and filling it with water, there were stains on her neck and the body. And despite that there was not even an iota of complain in her temperament about that that dear father! You married me to such a person in whose house there is starvation and the princes of the heaven, Hassan (رضی اللہ عنہ) and Hussain (رضی اللہ عنہ) are hungry. They are thirsty. And so much hungry and thirsty that Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) put his tongue in their mouths and they sucked your (ﷺ) tongue to quench the hunger and thirst. But in the grooming and love of my lord Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) they had found the jewelry of good behavior, patience, politeness, tolerance and forgiveness. Where Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) gave a few things to his daughter, there at the same time he gave the jewelry of love of Allah to her.
Utensils of the Heart and the Mind
Today our daughters are becoming over age. Have we given them the jewelry of Allah’s love? This will happen when we shall give two utensils; heart and the mind to Allah. And when we shall fill the love of Allah in these utensils. Our hearts and minds have become so full with worldly desires that apparently we do not find any capacity in them. All of this system is about flexibility. There is no space for a nail in a wall, or in wood, but the nail makes that space. (Continued)
