Jamadi ul Sani is the sixth month of Islamic calendar year. Hazrat Umar Farooq رضی اللہ عنہا was sworn in as Caliph on 22nd of this month. On 13th of this month Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique رضی اللہ عنہا passed away. This is a very holy month. Following are the spiritual practices that may be performed in this month.
For the wishes to be come true
First night of this month: After Maghreb prayer, reciting Surah Ikhlas for fifteen times, Surah Al Falaq and Surah Al Nas each for one time and reciting ایاک نعبدو و ایاک نستعین for thirty times while in the state of prostration and then praying with utmost indulgence for the fulfilment of all desires and wishes is a time-tested spiritual practice. Besides offering two rakah nafil prayer after the Isha prayer on first night of this month and reciting Holy Quran afterwards and seeking Allah’s forgiveness carries much spiritual reward.
For domestic and financial problems: One may recite all day all long following verses for the wonders to be unleashed and for domestic and financial problems to be solved.
ایاک نعبدو وایاک نستعین۔ یا اللہ یا رحمٰن۔
ایاک نعبدو وایاک نستعین۔ یا اللہ یا رحیم۔
To avert misfortune: One may keep reciting the following verse all day all long with conviction and indulgence all day all long فان مع العسر یسرا۔ ان مع العسر یسرا (Surah Ash Sharah, Verse 5, 6)
For blessed domestic and business affairs: Take a glass of water. Recite بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم for seven hundred and eighty-six times and blow on hands, water, home, shop or on any other workplace thrice. Sprinkle the blown water in all corners of roof of the house and on walls, this would ward off evil and black magic. Drink this water with faith and conviction in Almighty Allah’s benevolence, God willing all problems will be resolved within months.
To earn Almighty Allah’s love: It has been narrated by saints and pious men that offering twelve rakah nafil prayer in a unit of two rakah and offering four rakah nafil prayer after Isha prayer, in a manner that Surah Ikhlas is recited for thirteen times in each rakah would earn one Allah’s love.
To get rid of poverty: On tenth night of this month, twelve rakah nafil prayer in a unit of two be offered in a manner that Surah Quresh is recited in every rakah. And having offered twelve rakah nafil prayer, Surah Yousuf be recited. God willing, one will get rid of poverty and remain safe from all evils for the whole year.
For great spiritual reward: Offering twenty rakah nafil prayer from twenty-first night of this month till the last night in a unit of two rakah in the manner that Surah Ikhlas is recited once in each rakah is a great spiritual practice and will earn one much spiritual reward.
To earn respect: On twenty-ninth night of this month, after offering Maghrib prayer, offering four rakah nafil prayer and reciting یا عزیز یا رحیم countlessly will make one respectable among people.
For the one who would get scared at night: Reciting one rosary of یا حفیظ یا رقیب with Darood Shareef recited in the beginning and at end would place one in God’s providence and he will not get scared at night.
