Summer season and the answer to three of my problems

Ubqari Magazine - May 2019

Respected Hazrat Hakeem Sahab, Aslam-o-Alaikum! I pray to Allah Almighty that wherever you are, you are happy and healthy. May Allah Almighty keep your shadow upon sinners like me forever. I have three different advice to share, maybe it will benefit someone.

First advice: The first thing was that since I was a child, I used to get headaches a lot. I tried to get cured but to no avail. Then someone told me that to take 1 kilo fresh ghee of cow and 1 quarter almonds. Add the ghee in a cooking pot along with the almonds and cook it at a low heat. When the almonds are burned and turn black, strain the ghee and keep it. At night, before sleeping massage the ghee on your head. Wash it in the morning. It improves weaknesses in brain and is also beneficial for headaches. My headache was cured with this method and my hair also became beautiful, shiny and strong. I have been using this for a long time.

Second advice: In summers, ice trays or bins freeze in the fridge and taking them out becomes a tedious task. Often, this would also damage the fridge. Clean the freezer and spread salt on its surface. Now keep the water filled utensils inside. They will come out easily. Use common salt, not iodised salt, in fact common Lahori salt will work just fine.

Third advice: Karale or bitter melon is often cooked in homes in summer. To reduce their bitterness soak them in lassi for 1 or half hour. Then wring them out and fry them. Whether you make it simply or with meat, they will be incredibly delicious. There will be no sign of any bitterness. (Nahjma Abid)
