There is saying of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Bukhari Shareef: (اذا ضرب العبد فلیجتنب الوجہ) (translation) when you slap a slave, avoid slapping on face; a child is also in the category of slave before his teachers. The great scholars have stated this order to slap a child. Allah almighty created Hazrat Adam on His own physiognomy (Bukhari) the respect of face is the respect of Allah. The beauty of person is present in face. Face is the emblem beauty, when the face will be slapped its beauty will fade. The face represents humanity of a person, to slap on face is similar to end person’s humanity. Face is a delicate thing, slapping effects it a lot, by slapping over and over again on the face will end its beauty, and the child will become stubborn. He will run to the unknown place when he will be punished in school or home. And his future will be destroyed by indulging in wrong society.
