Hadhrat Abdullah Bin Umar رضی اللہ عنہما)) narrates that the beloved Prophet (صلی الله علیہ وسلم) said, ‘Allah Almighty blesses some people just for the sake of benefiting others with it. Longer they benefit the people around them, they remained blessed with those blessings but when they abandon benefitting others then Allah Almighty takes the blessings away and give those to someone else.(Al-Tibrani, Hulyatul Auliya, Jami-Al-Sagheer)
Hadhrat Abu Dhar (رضی اللہ عنہ) narrates that the Holy Prophet(صلی الله علیہ وسلم) said, ‘Your giving smile to your Muslim brother is an act of virtue, your commanding someone to do good is also a virtue and your forbidding anyone from doing bad is also a virtue; your guiding someone who has lost his way is also an act of virtue; your leading someone with visual impairment is also an act of virtue; your removing stone, throne or bones etc. from the people’s way is also an act of virtue and even if you help your brother in getting water from the well is also an act of virtue.(Tirmidhi)
Hadhrat Abu Huraira ((رضی اللہ عنہ) narrates that the beloved Prophet ((صلی الله علیہ وسلم) said, ‘Whosoever removes the miseries of his miserable brother will get his own miseries taken away by the Allah Almighty in the hereafter and whosever conceals the wrongs of his brother will get his sins concealed by the Allah Almighty in the hereafter and longer a person remains helping his brother, he has Allah helping him. Hadhrat Abu Muza Ash’ari (رضی اللہ عنہ) narrates that the companions asked the beloved Prophet ((صلی الله علیہ وسلم) whose faith is the best? He (صلی الله علیہ وسلم) said, ‘He has the best faith from whose tongue and hand is other Muslims safe.’(Bukhari)
