It is the 62 years old incident when I was 10 or 12 years old. At that time whenever any disease or viral came to our village there came the government employee who used to do following thing.  Take the water in a big apparatus/pot and read Surah Yaseen over it and throw this water in drops on the paths where people and animals walk through. They write the Surah Yaseen on any paper or wood and hang it at some higher place of the paths. They also do some charity and per home they used to donate 2 kilo sugar (shakkar), 3 kilo wheat and barley 5 kilo. Every home, every person eats this and in this way they stayed happy and healthy.

It is the incident of 1996. We had a relative whose wife was expected. When the time approached, he admitted her wife in the general hospital. The case got complicated and doctors said that child has been dead and we cannot operate your wife as there is a danger to your wife’s life. The husband was worried and came to me and said it is a time of repent. I gave him some courage and offer two Rakka’s of need and gave him a water of Sura Yaseen read on it. I asked him to make this water drink to your wife and Insha’Allah child will born within half an hour. I did the same thing and my wife gave birth to dead child within some time. In this way, my wife life was saved. After this I donated two caldrons.

Hazrat Ibne Abbass (رضی اللہ عنہ) narrated that Hazrat Mohammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) has said that whoever read this dua will be away from sorrows and grieves.

لا الہ الا اللہ قبل کل شیء و لا الہ الا اللہ بعد کل شیء ولا الہ الا اللہ یبقی و یفنیٰ کل شیء

“La illaha ilallahu qablu kuli shaee wala ilaha illa lallahu baada kul e shaee’n walla ilaha ilaallhu yabqa w yafna kuli shaee”

Hazrat Abu Qatada narrated that Hazrat Mohammad ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)  said that whoever will read Ayat ul Kursi and last Ayaats of Sura Baqra in time of sorrow.. Allah will help him/her.

Supplication to keep away from sorrows:

Hazrat Mohammadصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم   said that who will read this لا حول ولا قوۃ الا باللہ العلی العظیم “Lahol Walla Quwatta illa billhahay alaleyil azeem” have the cure of 99 sorrows/diseases. And most light disease is sorrow.
