Watermelon is eaten with zeal by all the members of a family. 3 types of watermelon are found in Pakistan and all 3 have excellent form, appearance, and flavour. A watermelon has an average weight of 12kg. Watermelon weighing 15 kg has also been seen at some places. A watermelon has glucose, phosphorus, and sugar in the form of starch, oily elements, iron, potassium, calcium and flesh forming ingredients. Nowadays fruits are plucked off before becoming ripe, stored in containers after applying chemicals which makes them ripe and then sent to markets. Skin infections can erupt on eating such watermelons.
BENEFITS OF WATERMELON
Eat watermelon at night and don’t drink water on top of it, sleep after sometime. It will wake you up before fajur and chronic constipation shall be relieved. Only people suffering from chronic constipation should eat watermelon at night, others should eat in small amount, if they do eat at night.

Take melon mughuz 1tola, watermelon mughuz 1tola, grate it in 250 ml water and add sugar to taste. Water melon quenches the thirst when taken in sehri in the month of Holy Ramadan. Regulates bile, it has laxative property. It especially suits hot tempered people particularly in Ramadan. It is beneficial in fever due to heat. Never eat rice and watermelon the same day. It dissolves renal and urinary bladder stones. Eat watermelon 2hours after aftar in Ramadan. Water melon makes one fat. If someone suffers from vomiting daily add sugar candy to 250ml juice of watermelon in the morning and drinking it everyday solves this problem. It refreshes the heart. Watermelon purifies the blood and removes toxins.
