On the night of the ashura offer 4 rakat nafal prayer in the following way that in every rakat recite aayatul-kursi once after surah Fatiha and surah Ikhlaas thrice. After getting free from prayers, recite surah Ikhlaas 100 times.You will get pure from sins and a lot of blessings would be received in the heaven.
After seeing the moon of Muharram, recite surah Ikhlaas 4 times. Make dum on yourself and your family. It is considered very virtuous.
Nafal Prayers: During the first night after the Isha prayers recite 8 rakat nafal with 4 salams. In every rakat recite surah Ikhlaas 11 times after reciting surah Fateha. InshaAllah by the grace of this prayer Allah Almighty would pardon this person and his family’s sins. Nafal Prayers of Aashura Night: On the night of the ashura offer 4 rakat nafal prayer in the following way that in every rakat recite aayatul-kursi thrice after surah Fatiha and surah Ikhlaas 11 times. After getting free from prayers, recite surah Ikhlaas 100 times. Repent from your sins. And ask for the pardon of Allah Almighty. By the will of Allah, Allah will forgive all the sins of the person with His blessings. On the day of Aashura recite offer 4 rakat nafal before the zuhar prayers with such a scheme that in every rakat after surah Fatiha recite surah Ikhlaas 4 times and send the rewards of this prayer to hazrat Imam-e-Hussain (RA).
Wazaaif: From the first night to the night of Aashura after the isha prayers it is beneficial to offer the kalima tawheed for absolution from sins. On the 10th Muharram at any time perform ablution at any time and recite 70 times Hasbun Allah-e-wa Naim-al-wakeel.... حَسْبُنَا اللّٰہُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَکِیْلُ In order to obtain knowledge about Allah and absolution of sins, this wazifa is very supreme. On the 1st of Muharram write Bismilla-e-Rehman-ir-Raheem بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم and keep it with yourself and he/she will not have to come across any unpleasant incident for the whole of his/her life.
Cure of the Eyes on the Day of Aashura: It is quoted from Hazrat Ibn-e-Abbas (RA) that Rasool Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him ) said that, the person who would apply antimony (surma) on the day of aashura, his/her eyes would never ache. (Saib-ul-eimaan J, p, 367).
The Bliss of Spending on The Family Members on the Day of Ashura: Hazrat Abdullah ibn Masud (RA) has said that Hazrat Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) has said that the person who would spend plentifully to his/her family and would show generosity, Allah would increase and bestow bliss and blessings in his sustenance for a whole year. (Maasbat min Alsunnat, Shahr-al-haraam, p. 17) Experience: Hazrat Sufyaan Sauri (RA) has said that when he applied this, he found it accordingly. (Mashkaat Shareef, p, 170).
Hazrat Mehboob-e-Rabbani Qutab Subhaani: Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jillani (RA) says in his book ghunniyatal-taalibeen, vol, 2, p 54, that hazrat Sufiyan Sauri (RA) said that we did an experiment for 50 years and we found vastness. Similarly, allama manaawi (RA) says in Faiz-Al-Qadeer, vol 6, p 236 that hazrat Jaabir (RA) said that we tested it and found affluence. And hazrat Ibn-e-Eiena (RA) said that we tested it for 50 – 60 years and we found vastness in it.
To visit the Sick: Anyone who would visit the sick on the day of aashura, it is as if he visited the whole of generation of Adam (AS) while they were sick. (Ghuniya-tul-taalibeen vol 2, p 54).
The Reward of Giving Someone Water to Drink on the Day of Aashura: Hazrat Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said that the person who gave other people water to drink on the day of aashurah, he did not disobey Allah even for a very short time. (Ghuniya-tul-Taalibeen, vol, 2, p. 54)
Fasting: It is quoted from hazrat Anas (RA) that Hazrat Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said that whoever shall fast on the first Friday of Muharram, Allah Almighty forgives his previous sins. Hazrat Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) has said that whoever fasts on the three days of Muharram Thursday, Friday and Saturday a reward for nine years of worship is written for him. It is quoted from hazrat Ayesha (RA) that Hazrat Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: The person who would fast for the first 10 days of Aashura, he/she would be the owner of the highest heaven. (Nuzhat-ul-majaalis Vol 1, p. 145).
Nawaafil of Aashura: On the night of the ashura offer 4 rakat nafal prayer in the following way that in every rakat recite aayat-ul-kursi once after surah Fatiha and surah Ikhlaas thrice. After getting free from prayers, recite surah Ikhlaas 100 times. You will get pure from sins and a lot of blessings would be received in the heaven. (Jannati Zaiwar, p 157). The person who would recite 4 rakat prayers with such a scheme that in every rakat after reciting surah fateha, he recites surah Ikhlaas, Allah Almighty would forgive his sins of 50 years of the past and 50 years of the future and prepares 1000 palaces for him in the highest heaven.
